Winter 2027 co-op

An engineering co-op for students who would rather ship something real than shadow someone who does.

Link to or describe something you’ve made, what it does, and what was hard about it.

Who you are and what you’re interested in. Not a technical demo or a scripted walkthrough.

What the co-op is

A winter term inside the team that builds Backboard, memory, retrieval, routing, and the tooling around them. You take a real piece of the roadmap rather than a side project, and ship it to production with a named engineer reviewing your work.

What we want to assess

Whether you can take an ambiguous problem and come back with something that works. We care about what you have built and how you reason about it, not your coursework, and not how many frameworks you can name.

What you get

Paid work
Paid hourly for the full term.
Real ownership
You take a piece of the roadmap and ship it to production, not a side project that gets archived when you leave.
Early access
Early access to everything we ship, plus dev credits of your own.
Mentorship
A named engineer reviews your work every week, and you sit in the same reviews the rest of the team does.
